Ein Großteil dieses Werkes blieb lange unaufgeführt. 1984 ging aus Hellhammer eine der namhaftesten Bands der weltweiten Metal-Szene hervor: Celtic Frost! 2019 gründete Tom Gabriel Warrior die Band Triumph of Death, um die Musik der legendären Hellhammer wieder auferstehen zu lassen. Nach Auftritten auf den größten Festivals der Welt, kommen Triumph of Death zum Detze!
